INCREDIBLE KENAI KINGS If you're looking for hot King salon fishing, then Anglers Lodge is where you want to be. The Kenai River is home to several species of salmon, the most famous of which is the King. Several of the largest King salmon in the world have been caught on the Kenai River. A 97 pound Kenai King holds the current world record.
COOK INLET HALIBUT Cook Inlet offers fishermen the opportunity to catch the largest Northern Pacific game fish- the Halibut. A 460 pound halibut was pulled from the depths of Cook Inlet. While fish over 100 pounds are caught each season, the average fish run in the 20 pound range.
SOCKEYE SALMON When the sockeye or red salmon hit the river in mid July, fishing fever hits the Kenai Peninsula. These ocean-fresh salmon are great eating and provide great bank fishing and after-hours fun.
KASILOF RIVER Beginning in May, we offer fishermen the unforgettable experience of drifting down the beautiful Kasilof River. This river has the highest King Salmon success rate of any Kenai Peninsula river or stream. These Kasilof kings range in size from 15 to 30 pounds. This fishery is most popular in late May and June.
FIGHTING SILVERS In August and September, the acrobatic silvers will give you a fishing experience you won't soon forget. Silvers weigh between 7 and 15 pounds with trophies up to 20 pounds. These fish are fun to catch and excellent eating. On even numbered years, a huge run of pink salmon arrive with the silvers giving fishermen enough action to last a lifetime.
